At Aquamarine Gallery, we stand behind the quality and authenticity of our natural gemstone jewelry. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.
Return Eligibility Period
You have 7 days from receiving your package to contact us and request a return or refund for eligible items.
Eligible Returns
We accept returns for the following reasons:
- Non-natural gemstones: If you can provide proof that the gemstone is not natural (as guaranteed), we will accept the return. Please note that some products may be enhanced natural stones (natural gemstones with manually improved quality), which will be clearly mentioned in the product details. Enhanced stones are not eligible for return based on enhancement alone.
- Damaged or defective items: Items that arrive damaged or with manufacturing defects
- Wrong item sent: If we sent you an item different from what you ordered
- Wrong size sent: If we sent you the incorrect size
Non-Eligible Returns
We do not accept returns for:
- Change of mind or buyer's remorse
- Enhanced natural gemstones when enhancement is disclosed in product details
- Earrings (for hygiene reasons)
- Custom or personalized items
- Sale or clearance items
- Items not in resalable condition due to customer damage
Size Exchanges
We do accept size exchanges under the following conditions:
- Our error: If we sent the wrong size, we cover all shipping fees for the exchange
- Customer error: If you ordered the wrong size, you are responsible for both outbound and return shipping fees
Return Shipping Costs
- Our responsibility: We pay return shipping if the return is due to our error (wrong item, wrong size, damaged/defective product, non-natural gemstone)
- Customer responsibility: You pay return shipping for sizing errors on your part
- Shipping damage: If your item is damaged during shipping, you are responsible for filing a claim with the shipping carrier's insurance. We cannot process refunds for shipping damage.
International and GCC Returns
For international orders, please note:
- Customers are responsible for any customs duties or taxes on returned items
- Return shipping costs from international destinations are the customer's responsibility unless the return is due to our error
- We do not accept returns for change of mind on international orders
How to Request a Return
- Contact us within 7 days of receiving your package with your order number and reason for return
- Wait for our approval before sending any items back
- Once approved, carefully package the item and send it to the address we provide
- Items must be in resalable condition (worn items are acceptable if still in good condition)
Refund Process
- Inspection period: We will inspect your returned item within 2 business days of receiving it
- Refund method: You may choose between store credit or a refund to your original payment method
- Processing time: Refunds are processed immediately after inspection approval. Bank refunds may take 5-10 business days to appear in your account depending on your financial institution
Proof of Purchase
All returns require proof of purchase (order number or receipt).
Our Gemstone Authenticity Guarantee
We guarantee that all gemstones sold are natural unless explicitly stated otherwise in the product description. Some gemstones may be enhanced (treated to improve color or clarity), and this will always be disclosed in the product details. Enhanced stones remain natural gemstones and are not eligible for return based solely on enhancement when properly disclosed.
